Cinnamon Muffins

***These have the texture of more of a biscuit then a typical muffin.*** We find them Marvelous!!!
Ingerdients
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg

1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 t.baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. ground nutmeg

1/2 c. milk


Topping

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 t. ground cinnamon
3 T butter-melted

In a bowl, cream shortening and sugar.

Add egg. Beat well.
Combine flour, powder, salt, and nutmeg.Add to cream mixture. Add milk. Mix well. Fill greased muffin tins 1/2 full.( or less for smaller muffins)

Bake @ 350 for 15 minutes till done.

In shallow bowl combine cinnamon and sugar. Dip muffin tops in melted butter and then in cinnamon and sugar.Serve warm.

this is exactly what i was talking about baby.... i think you should do all your post like this... show pics from start to finish of you making it... and then pics of the family eating it.... it shows the readers how YOU make it and it shows what the final product should look like.... perfect, and great job...
